I have had a message from the head of admin at the university asking me to make sure that you have filled in the National Student Survey. Please take a moment to fill that in. It is very much the way of the world that a high proportion of y'all fill that in. Apparently only a few of you have done this and such a small sample may distort the picture. So please do that or else I will never hear the end of it.

You Tube

I've created a you tube channel with a few bits of what I would say was pretty nice video (except for one - one is awful). If anyone has produced any other decent (ie non-faked and copyright cleared) video that shows us all in a good light please email me and I will stick it up there. http://www.youtube.com/user/Winchesterjournalism

The county council offer....from Graham

E-mail Print PDF

I was just wondering if you had a few select students who would like to particpate in a video clip we are filming as part of our corporate video batch for HantsPlayer. We would like 2 or 3 students to visit The Castle in Winchester and partake in a clip on Council Tax which will feature the Leader of the Council. It would be 9.30-12pm on Friday 17th April. It would allow the students to observe the film company whilst setting up the shots and watching back the footage.

The format of the clip is a focus group of 6-ish people with the Leader discussing Council Tax, the clip lasts 3 minutes so will not take long to film. The students would need to sit as silent parts and act as members of the public.

Fancy being a film star?

Hi folks,

This just came in from the county council.

If you're interested let me know.

And talking of the county council. My media production students are now starting to produce videos for the HantsWeb website of the county council. Videos have to feature community issues/events/projects in Hampshire.

If you have something suitable let me know. Good for the CV.

Graham
